Hicieron concierto bajo el agua para promover cuidado de arrecifes
El Festival de Música Subacuático se celebró este sábado, en su trigésimo novena edición en los arrecifes de Cayo Looe, un área del Santuario Marino Nacional de los Cayos de Florida al extremo sur de Estados Unidos, para concientizar sobre el cuidado de estos valiosos ecosistemas.
Buceadores y practicantes de esnórquel exploraron parte de la única barrera coralina viva de Estados Unidos, mientras se mecían al ritmo de un concierto submarino organizado para fomentar la protección de los arrecifes y el buceo con conciencia ecológica.
El concierto proporcionó una “banda sonora sumergida” para que los buceadores puedan descubrir el diverso reino de peces tropicales, formaciones de coral y otras especies marinas de los Cayos a ritmo musical.
Durante la faena, algunos buzos se vistieron como sirenas u otras criaturas marinas y fingieron tocar instrumentos musicales bajo el agua para entretener aún más a los participantes de este peculiar festival.
